My Take on Urban City Organics

I won a wonderful giveaway on Fancy Little Things Blog in February and included in the giveaway was a $50 Gift Certificate to Urban City Organics. I will tell you I have never used alot of organic products and didn't know what to expect. Now I think I am hooked.


One of the items I picked out was the Vanilla Bean & Cinnamon Brown Sugar Scrub. It is a sugar scrub that help exfoliate and moisturize and leaves your skin soft and smooth. I totally love this stuff. The smell is wonderful, just like something to eat.
UCO also offers a Cappuccino Walnut Body Polish.

UCO (Urban City Organics) Lip Locked was another one of my picks. I use chapstick alot and so does my husband so I thought this would be a great item to try out. The ingredient are only Coconut Oil, Beeswax, Organic Cocoa Butter, Organic Shea Butter, Vitamin E and paraben free flavoring (if flavored). If you compare these ingredient to the ones in regular chapstick you will understand one benefit. The Maple is my favorite flavor and my husband likes the Au Naturale. If I had to make a suggestion it would only be to have a few different flavors to pick from, like some fruit flavors. The price was very reasonable also at $2.50 for 2 of them. 

  

My (and my husband's) favorite item out of all the items I received was the Handmade Organic Bar Soap. The ingredients in the Handmade Soap are also organic (and I can say all of them). The fragrances that I picked out were Honeysuckle Aloe and Lavender Buds then UCO was nice enough to send me the Grapefruit & Geranium for free. They also have Dulce Rose, Fresh Spun Cotton, Peppermint & Tea Tree, Sandlewood & Vanilla, White Tea & Ginger and Pure Castile & Goat Milk. Some of the soaps are 100% Organic or Vegan and some are 85%, just read the quick view to find the perfect one for your needs.

I also received the Rhassoul Clay, Rooibos Eye Serum (which I use daily), Tea Tree & Vinegar Toner and the Facial Detox with Activated Charcoal.
